Data deletion

This page explains how to have your information deleted from Runvy.

If you run a business that uses Runvy

1. Disconnect a channel: in Runvy, go to Settings → Channels and press Disconnect next to Twilio or Meta. We stop receiving messages from it and delete its access keys right away.
2. Delete a person or record: owners and admins can remove clients, leads, employees and other records from the matching pages.
3. Download everything: the business owner can download all of the business's data as an Excel file in Settings → Company → Your data.
4. Delete the whole account: in the same place, the owner presses Delete this company and types its name. Its records, messages and files are deleted right away, and so are the logins of its people unless they also belong to another business (backups expire within 30 days), its subscription is cancelled and any phone number it got through Runvy is released. The owner can also email us at runvy.support@gmail.com to ask us to do it.

If you messaged a business that uses Runvy

If you sent a text, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Instagram or website chat message to a business that uses Runvy, that business controls your conversation. You can:

1. ask the business directly to delete your conversation and contact details; or
2. email us at runvy.support@gmail.com with the business's name and the phone number, Facebook or Instagram name you wrote from. We will pass your request to the business and help it delete your information, and tell you when it is done.

You can also remove a business's access on Meta's side at any time: on Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and websites) and remove Runvy; deleting the chat in WhatsApp, Messenger or Instagram removes it from your device only.

How long it takes

We answer every request within 30 days and confirm when the deletion is complete. We may need to confirm who you are before deleting anything, and we may keep records the law requires us to keep (for example payment records).
